I really need to know what breed my cat is. First of all, I lost ny two cats within 6 months of each other. I had them for almost 14 years. I believe this new cat was sent to me bdcause of them and God. Anyway Lili is off white, with lots of layers of fur. some of it feels like down. she has grayish color on face, ears and lighter on feel. She has tufts of hair between her toes. She has a ruff aound her neck. sometimes in certain lite, I can see a lilac color. her hair is quite long. she is now 7 months old. I would appreciate any thing you couls tell me about her. She really is a beautiful cat and i love her so much. I am a 71 year old female and she is all i have. Thank you for your help

Hi
With great concern I read your article about Toxic Black Mold.

This morning I found one of my cats (I have two indoor cats whose only venturing out is limited to my roof balcony) licking the tiles on the balcony...this seemed odd as none of them has ever done this before.

I thought maybe he is thirsty...although there was plenty water in their bowl, I brought some water to him and he didn't want it. But he insistently carried on licking the tiles.

The tiles go mossy in the winter which under the sun turn into black mold. I am worried sick now...is my cat poisoned? Why did he do this odd behavior today? Is he telling me that he is lacking any mineral/vitamins? Is this a sign that he is upset of something?

He is a Ginger male 11 year old...he seems to be happy and healthy in all other counts and eats and drinks and plays and sleeps normal.

I would appreciate any advice.
